The Advanced Cardiovascular Test is recommended for any of the following: Smokers, Diabetics, or anyone with heart related concerns.

Blood Test
  • Traditional Lipid Profile – Basic group of tests to determine risk for cardiovascular and related diseases
  • Lipoprotein Particles – Lipoprotein particle size/number and Apolipoprotein concentrations reveal levels of good and bad cholesterol particles, which provide a far better predictor of risk than traditional lipid profiles alone
  • Inflammation – Independent predictors of risk. Testing reveals the level of inflammation of blood vessels that may lead to plaque rupture, ultimately resulting in a heart attack or stroke
  • Heart Function – Detects strain or other damage to the heart muscle
  • HD-Omega-3/6 Index – Fatty Acid Profile, a potent indicator of the nutrients in a individuals diet that can improve cardiovascular health

If necessary, the doctors can customise the screening to meet your individual’s needs and address any other health concerns you may have such as; weight loss/management, liver function, kidney function, diabetes, etc.

In addition to this we are also able to incorporate a stress test.

What is an exercise stress test?

A stress test, also known as an exercise test or treadmill test, is used by doctors to determine how well a patient’s heart works during physical activity. It also helps the doctor determine if your heart receives enough oxygen and proper blood flow when it needs it most, such as when you are exercising.

Please see other tests/Cardiology for further information or give us a call.
